About Rio Heli Seats

Rio Heli Seats is your dedicated booking platform for shared scenic helicopter flights over Rio de Janeiro, making world-class aerial tours accessible by letting you book individual seats instead of paying for an entire aircraft.

Operating in partnership with Heli-Rio Táxi Aéreo, the only Air Taxi company with its own headquarters, first-class infrastructure and duly certified by aeronautical authorities. All flights take off from Heli-Rio's private helipad in Recreio dos Bandeirantes.

Our Shared Flight Concept

Traditional private helicopter tours require passengers to charter the entire aircraft.

Rio Heli Seats offers another option.

Travelers can book individual seats on selected shared scenic flights and share the helicopter with other passengers. This model is particularly suitable for solo travelers, couples and visitors looking for a more affordable way to experience Rio from the air.

Our Operating Partner

Flights operate in partnership with Heli-Rio Táxi Aéreo from its private heliport in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro.

The heliport provides the operational base for the helicopter experiences offered through Rio Heli Seats.

Our Helicopter Fleet

The operating fleet includes aircraft such as:

  • Robinson R44 Raven II

  • Bell 206 Jet Ranger

  • Airbus AS350 B2 Squirrel

The aircraft used for a specific flight depends on operational requirements, availability and safety considerations.

Our Heliport

The operating heliport is located at:

Avenida das Américas, 13750
Recreio dos Bandeirantes
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Passengers should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled flight for check-in and briefing

Safety Comes First

All helicopter flights are subject to aviation regulations, aircraft limitations, weather conditions and operational safety requirements.

Passenger weight information may be required before the flight, and passengers are expected to follow all safety instructions provided by the aviation team.

Experience Rio From Above

From Christ the Redeemer and Corcovado Mountain to Rio's beaches, lagoons, mountains and forests, a helicopter flight offers a unique perspective of the Marvelous City.

Rio Heli Seats makes that experience available through a shared-flight model designed for travelers who do not need to charter an entire helicopter.
